A 2 Valve battery powered amplifier using DAF91 AND DL92 Valves |
|
|
From 1958 Radio Constructor Magazine this 2 valve amplifier is ment to be used as an add on unit to the REP 1 valve receiver. The circuit and instructions for the receiver are here Repanco 1 valve receiver. It is an ideal project to try if you have not used valves before. The construction is not complicated and the components are easy to get at very reasonable prices. It would be ideal as an amplifier for a cystal set or even a guitar (but you will need a preamp). The supplies required are 90 volts dc for the ht (10 x PP3s in series) and 1.4 volts for the heaters. The power output will be 0.25 of a watt.
