A four valve radio kit from 1960 using DK96,DF96.DAF96 and DL96 valves. This must be one of the last valve portables offered for sale. A conventional superhet circuit covering Long and Medium wavebands.
As can be seen for advertisements for this year, the transistor was dominating the general market but valve sets were still cheaper.
