Brighter Wireless Magazine March 1928

From the very early days of wireless this magazine appears to have been a subscription only issue by a valve manufacturer of the time. It claims that the valves are better than anyone elses at the time. The issue also contains 2 circuits for valve sets, construction details and information on maintaining the sets. The circuits go under such titles as 'The Poor Man's Circuit,Low Wave Stations Loud Speaker Circuit and The Sweeney Todd. Did you know that you were to overhaul your set once a week!. Also an interesting reference to television (remember this is 1928). The magazine is described as "A Journal for the Amateur Constructor Only". A fascinating look at the the Radio Constructor scene in 1928. With thanks to David Burgess for this gem from the past. |
