Getting Started. Soldering Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's)

This page covers the correct method of soldering new or replacement components onto a PCB. Vintage equipment will have been soldered using lead/tin solder. I understand that the new 'lead free' solder will not lend itself to undertaking repair unless all the old solder is removed.
